Description
"The Stranger", an aspect of The Seven from George R. R. Martin's A song of Ice and Fire series of novels. It represents death and the unknown.
This was inspired by a scene in 'A Clash of Kings' where Catelyn Stark prays in a nameless village sept, containing rough charcoal drawings of each of the seven aspects of this diety. The Stranger is described here as neither distinctly male or female, and having a black oval for a face with stars for eyes. It makes Cat uneasy, and she feels she will get scant comfort here.
This is how I envisioned "his" charcoal drawing. I imagine the face would remain black and featureless (save for the star eyes) even in direct light, while the rest of the figure would show normal light and shadow.
